About us

After retiring from 37 years in law enforcement  and 25 years as a truck driver, Scott and Barb Stanley were looking for a change. They owned a home in Port Saint Lucie but decided they wanted a little more land to call home... so they sold their home in Port Saint Lucie and headed for a little country up in Polk County.

Scott and Barb Stanley purchased the Park in 2019. It was nothing more than five and a half acres of over grown jungle. With Barb's vision and Scott's back, they turned it into Stanley Park.

Initially the farm was purchased as their private residence.  After the property was cleared they decided to share the beauty and magic with families everywhere. 

When they were trying to figure out what to do with the land, Barb said, " Let's open a Christmas tree farm." To her surprise, Scott said, "Sounds fun, let's do it." Neither had ever grown Christmas trees. Scott was actually raised in New York, but with much determination and a lot of sweat they got it done. 

We hope everyone enjoys their day at Stanley Park as much as we do. Making new memories and creating family traditions that can be passed on for generations to come .
